Custom Japanese Knife Handle (Wa Handle) - Gabon Ebony and Horn

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made with kiln-dried Gabon Ebony with a black buffalo Horn ferrule and nickel silver and G10 spacers.

Medium sized, it is suited for 240mm Japanese knives.

Weight: 57g, Length: 140.8mm (5.5")

Handle is sanded to 600 grit, then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection

Care :

Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
